Training and Education for Professionals
Phoenix Interfaith Counseling is committed to contributing to the community
by providing the highest quality training for graduate students, new therapists,
and mental health practitioners.
Internships:
We provide internships for students currently enrolled in graduate programs
in counseling, psychology, social work and marriage and family therapy. These internships
include the opportunity to see clients and be supervised in both individual and
group environments.
Residents:
We offer a one-year residency program for Masters level graduates of Counseling,
Social Work and Psychology Programs. This program includes weekly
individual and group supervision. Classes provide intensive training in Cognitive
and Behavioral therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Participation
counts toward the requirements for Licensure in Arizona.
