Phoenix Interfaith Counseling provides psychotherapy and psychiatric services for adults, families, adolescents and children. We offer specialized services to deal with the difficult problems of suicidal and self-harming behaviors in adults and adolescents and marital and sexual therapy. Phoenix Interfaith Counseling provides training and supervision in its clinical residency program and conducts workshops for mental health professionals. We actively partner with organizations like Homeward Bound and Florence Crittenton to help them provide counseling services to their clients who are in need.
Phoenix Interfaith Counseling in collaboration with the Southwest Network provides accessible behavioral health services designed to aid children and adolescents to achieve success in school, live with their families, avoid delinquency, and become stable and productive adults.
The Arizona Department of Health Services has adopted the Arizona Vision for providing child and adolescent services to all enrolled children and adolescents through use of the Child and Family Team practice. The Child and Family Team (CFT) is a defined group of people that includes the child and his/her family, a behavioral health representative, and other individuals important in the child’s life who are identified and invited to participate by the child and family. The CFT can expand and contract as necessary to be successful on behalf of the child, since the size, scope and intensity of involvement of the team members are determined by the objectives established for the child, by the strengths and needs of the family in providing for the child, and by which individuals are needed to develop an effective service plan.
Services will be tailored to the child and family and provided in the most appropriate setting, in a timely fashion, and in accordance with best practices, while respecting the child’s and family’s cultural heritage.
